Trevor Waddington is a retired Royal Navy engineer officer, a graduate of the West Dean College/British Antique Dealers' Association diploma course in the conservation-restoration of antique clocks, a Fellow of the British Horological Institute, an Accredited Conservator-Restorer, a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers, and a member of the Antiquarian Horological Society.

Trevor ran an antique clocks conservation-restoration business in Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire, from 1995 to 2012 which was included in the Conservation Register.

Relocating to Budleigh Salterton, East Devon, in March 2012, he will provide a professional service as an antique clocks consultant.  This will include:
    Providing written valuations for insurance and probate purposes
    Providing advice on buying and selling
    Providing advice on conservation-restoration
    Researching the history of a clock and its maker
    Sourcing specialist clocks for collectors
    Sourcing clocks for descendants of clockmakers
